When we first made contact with our partner in India, we were a little reluctant at first. Often the working conditions in India are not sustainable.

However, after our first series we were already very surprised about the good way of working, great collaboration with the manufactory and the iterative development process.

So we appreciate even more the cooperation and commitment of each of the seamstresses. The workforce receives social benefits, paid vacation and sick days and an opportunity to develop.

Thus, some suggestions for improving the body of our Mrs. Maisel came directly from the workers, crafting the handbags.

The collection in bi-color from M84U in India is a true (Christmas) gift. The staff in India, together with our team, designed our handbag ‘Mrs. Maisel’ during the Christmas season. Mrs. Maisel is reminiscent of the classic ladies handbag of the 60s and would certainly be exactly what Marvelous Mrs. Maisel would buy from us in a time travel.

The design was developed over several months and through various interactions in intensive collaboration.

Our partner from India and his team have ‘never made such beautiful handbags with so much joy and attention to detail’.

What story do you experience with your ‘Mrs. Maisel’?
